Kate is a fine artist and printmaker. Originally from Wales, she works on large scale woodcuts and linocuts with an oriental influence. She often uses Japanese and handmade papers and combines Eastern and Western printmaking techniques.
‘I love working with patterns in nature and produce serene landscapes. I hand print everything using a traditional Japanese baren, so I have more control over the printing process.’
Kate has a BA in Fine Art and an MA in Printmaking from Aberystwyth and has exhibited widely throughout Europe.
