Stuart Nurse
Stuart's work is concerned with the natural world and how the environment can affect the individual. He is interested in the complex of interweaving elements that come together forming the world around us. The images Stuart produces are often of small areas of landscape. By observing the detail, the range of colour and form these seemingly mundane scenes are elevated to equivalent significance as the whole vista.
Stuart works with various media; paint, photography and digital. "Photographs are a record of instances in time or specific events but a painting is a contemplation; a deeper appreciation of the subject, its changing circumstances, form and history".
Much of Stuart's work can be purchased as limited or open edition prints. Find out how by following this link.
